    Aluminum metal plate 5083:5083 aluminum plate belongs to Al-Mg series alloy. It is the highest strength corrosion-resistant alloy among practical non-heat-treated alloys. The main alloying element of 5083 is magnesium, which has good corrosion resistance. 5083 aluminum plate have higher strength than 5052 plate and has exceptional thermal conductivity. In the tempered condition, it retains good formability due to excellent ductility. It is highly suitable for welding and can be hardened by cold work.

    5083 marine grade aluminum plate: 5083 aluminum plate has good resistance to seawater and low temperature characteristics. Therefore, 5083 aluminum plate has become the most suitable choice for marine grade aluminum. 5083 aluminum plate can be used for yacht, cruise ship, etc., such engine seat, deck of ship, side of ship, bottom, outer plate and so on.

    5083 aluminum plate for vehicles: Since 5083 aluminum plate is capable of withstanding extremely low temperatures without brittleness or loss of properties, it is especially suited to the cryogenic market. Alloy 5083 has been used in vehicle armor plate due to its high strength factor. such as aluminum alloy tank car body/ tank body, automobile fuel tank, gas storage cylinder, bus skin, C82 coal truck, automobile roof/ bottom plate, etc.

    In addition, used in the manufacture of aircraft fuel tanks, oil pipes, sheet metal parts for transportation vehicles, ships, meters, street light brackets and rivets, hardware products, electrical enclosures.

    The difference between 5083 H111 Aluminum Plate and 5083 H116 Aluminum Plate; H111 VS H112 VS H116
    5083-H116: For products made of 5xxx series alloys with a magnesium content of 4% or more. These products have the required mechanical properties and resistance to spalling and corrosion.

    5083-H111: Full annealed products that have undergone a moderate amount of work-hardening, but can’t reach the hardness of the H11 condition.

    5083-H112: Applicable to products that are hot rolled. The mechanical properties of products in this condition are required by regulations.

    5083-H321: This is suitable for processing aluminum materials with magnesium content greater than 4%, and the degree of work hardening in both hot and cold working is slightly less than that of H32. The technical parameters of H116 are demanding, with strict requirements for anti-corrosion properties and magnesium content; however, H321 has good performance stability.
