• What is the difference between 1100 and 5052 aluminum?

Although its strength is relatively low, its good plasticity and corrosion resistance make it excellent in some specific applications. For example, it is commonly used in food and chemical handling and storage equipment, sheet metal products, welded assemblies, etc. These applications often require materials with good formability and high corrosion resistance, but do not require extremely high strength.

Its mechanical properties are much higher than those of 1100 aluminum plate, mainly due to the addition of magnesium.
